"Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me" (Matthew 25:40)
We believe the primary responsibility of parents is to pass on their faith to their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4). Thus, our children’s ministry exists to provide an atmosphere where parents will find assistance in developing Christlikeness and establishing faith in their children. We hope to accomplish this by providing education, activities, and relationship-building opportunities for parent and child alike.
Bible Boardwalk is our EXCITING format for our Stairstackers (Babies-5th Grade) education! Our children will go through the Bible in two years by learning stories through four different presentations. Those presentations include Project Point (craft room), Parable Productions (theater), Fun Factory (game room), and Museum (learning stories from the biblical time period). Each age group rotates through each room over a two week period during our Sunday Morning and Wednesday Evening Bible Classes.
Each summer we conduct a summer learning experience for children in our congregation and community that we call Vacation Bible School. This Bible study experience will take place one week each summer for approximately 2 hours each evening. This is a great opportunity for children to discover stories from the Bible in a fun and engaging environment.
Our Trunk or Treat is held toward the end of October every year. It will be lots of fun and fellowship for the entire family. The event will take place in our parking lot adjacent to Nine Mile Road. We would love to you join in on the fun!
Many of our youth participate in the Lads to Leaders program. The mission of L2L has been to develop youth into Christian leaders. We participate in both year-round and convention/pre-convention events. Click on the L2L logo to visit their website to learn more about the program.
